Carter Industries contaminated soil site has been approved by the Government of the Northwest Territories as an acceptable site to store contaminated soils.

Soils are collected and placed in Carter Industries secure site for holding contaminated soil.  Within the cell the materials are monitored and periodically turned to aerate the soil.  Once testing shows the soil has been farmed to acceptable levels the soil is removed from the cell.
