 In 2003 Shawn Carter and Kirk Kiewitz came up with a unique all inclusive design for housing our mobile snowmakers.  Our "protocol" design was built in the Carter Industries Ltd shop and earned the attention of Sandwell Engineering who specializes in ice work.  Before we knew it representatives had traveled to Hay River to view the machine, and an order was placed for purchase of a machine and supply of an operator for the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan.  We had an employee from Hay River travel to Kazakhstan to setup, demonstrate and train an operator.  We have subsequently built a replacement unit in which we take great pride.  We are in the process of adding a second snowmaking unit to our fleet of equipment.
